Denture Relines & Rebases

At Rob’s Denture Studio, we understand that over time, dentures can become loose or uncomfortable due to natural changes in your gums and jawbone. Our denture relines and rebase services are designed to restore the comfort and fit of your dentures, ensuring they continue to function properly and feel secure.

As your mouth naturally changes due to aging, bone resorption, or weight fluctuations, your dentures may no longer fit as snugly as they once did. This can lead to denture slippage, discomfort, and even problems with chewing and speaking. A reline or rebase can help by adjusting the base of your dentures to accommodate these changes.

Relines involve adding new material to the inside of the denture, improving the fit without altering the appearance. Rebases replace the entire acrylic base of the denture, keeping the existing teeth intact while providing a stronger foundation. Rebasing is typically recommended when the denture base is damaged or worn out.

Yes, as long as the denture teeth are in good condition, relining or rebasing is a great option to restore fit and function. If the denture teeth are also worn down, a new denture may be recommended.

No. Relines and rebases only affect the fit of your dentures, not the appearance. The teeth and overall look of your dentures will remain the same.
